Tomball
Craftsman Kitchen

New cabinetry designed to continue the story of an early-1900s home—not compete with it.

New work with
an established character.

The owner was restoring the home as an Airbnb and had already sourced vintage appliances and white-oak base cabinets for the sink wall. Bench was asked to complete the room: develop the detailing, match the inset door style and build the fridge surround and range wall.

Designed to
belong.

In an old house, the drawing is only the beginning. Walls, floors and openings rarely follow modern assumptions, so the cabinetry had to be carefully detailed and fitted to the actual room.

The result connects the owner’s existing cabinetry and vintage appliances with new work that feels appropriate to the home’s scale and Craftsman character. The house is now complete and listed as a rental.
